I am pleased to say that Katie Alice has been featured heavily in the February edition of Country Living Magazine. The article talks all about her inspirations for her home and garden. It explores her love of vintage finds and how every part of her wonderful cottage has been lovingly restored. From the reclaimed bricks on the kitchen floor to the fantastic carved wooden fireplace in the living room which was originally part of a Jacobean dresser that her husband bought at a local auction and converted himself! A wonderful story about how one can use salvage materials and turn them into objects of desire!

Hi there – I know I have been a bit quiet lately. I have been busily designing new collections for Creative Tops which I am very excited about and I will be launching at Spring Fair 2012.

There are new additions to my Scarlet Posy collection as well as a more sophisticated collection for those of you who like a little bit of drama to your afternoon tea. Here’s just a little taster!

It’s been really busy so we haven’t had a chance to do much posting but Katie has been featured in a local magazine recently. Image Magazine is published by Northampton Newspapers and features a lovely interview with the designer herself at home.

Spring is here!

Finally, we have some sunshine….it seems that we’ve been stuck in winter forever. The sun somehow revives us and gives us renewed energy. Definitely time to be creative and its certainly got me thinking about how we can now build on the current collections. I have been working with the guys in the Creative Tops design studio on some new concepts and look forward to be able share my thougths with you a little way down the line.

We’ve been experiementing a lot with colours and substrates and the good news is that we’re going to be adding to my Scarlet Posey collection! I’ve been out and about a various antique fairs looking for ideas to create a line of cutlery that would sit well with both my Cottage Garden and Scarlet Posey lines – so watch this space.

I am also working on a series of videos to accompany my collections – which I hope will inspire people. In the meantime, I thought I’d upload this gorgeous picture of my Frank – he’s loving the sunshine at the moment. Enjoy!

Katie Alice at Spring Fair

Katie attended Spring Fair 2011 and presented her new collection of gorgeous superwhite porcelain. The design is taken from a piece of vintage wall paper.

Katie has given the design a modern twist by including some lovely polka dots mixed up with the traditional floral spray. The range will be available from April this year and includes dinner plates, side plates, large sized bullet mugs, cereal bowls and melamine tray. The colour-way would work very well as a Christmas theme.

Hi everyone

Katie Alice will be joining us on our stand at Spring Fair 2011, on Tuesday 8th February. She will be talking through her inspiration for her brand new vintage style collection of pretty co-ordinated homewares. The new range will include ceramics, big chunky mugs and spotty co-ordinated accessories in bright red, with a floral spray!

Hi everyone

Just to let you know we have produced a video, in conjunction with Period Living magazine, about the new Katie Alice Collection. It can be viewed on YouTube and on our website.

Katie is in the middle of developing a new range of vintage inspired ceramics, kitchenware for next year and has been very busy with her time, travelling around the UK visiting an array of different Christmas antique fairs for inspiration. We hope to be able to show you a sneak preview very soon.
